Lucky Penny Productions presents I Love You Because, a modern day musical love story inspired by the Jane Austen novel Pride and Prejudice. A young, uptight greeting card writer named Austin has his life changed when he meets Marcy, a flighty photographer.

Marcy's eccentric actuary friend, Diana, and Austin's randy brother, Jeff, along with the world-wise "New York Man" and "New York Woman" help them learn to love each other not in spite of their faults, but because of them. The show was first performed off-Broadway in 2006 at the Village Theatre.

I Love You Because features Taylor Bartolucci as Marcy, Dominic Williams as Austin, LC Smith as Diana, Zac Schuman as Jeff, Alise Girard as New York Woman and John Quinn as New York Man, with Stage Direction by Barry Martin and Musical Direction by Lucas Sherman.

As a co-production with Spreckels Theatre Company, the show will have a 4-weekend run - Oct 25, 26, 27, Nov 1, 2, 3 at 8:00 pm and October 28 and November 4 at 2:00 pm at Napa Valley Playhouse in Napa and November 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 at 8:00 pm and November 11 and 18 at 2:00 pm at Spreckels Performing Arts Center in Rohnert Park.
